Privacy policy

Effective September 24, 2026

This policy covers yardrail.com: what we collect when you visit or join the waitlist, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Yardrail itself is not open for sign-in yet; when it is, it will have its own policy.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your answers to the form's questions: which option fits you best and, if you run a small business, how you would want to get set up.
  • Which button on the page led you to the form, and the link you arrived from (for example, a LinkedIn post), when the link carries that label.

When you browse the site, Google Analytics records page visits and which parts of the page were viewed, using cookies. It does not receive your name or email address.

How we use it

  • To email you about Yardrail: your place on the waitlist, beta access, and a short question about what you would automate first.
  • To understand which kinds of businesses are interested, so we build the right thing first.

We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.

Where it is kept

  • Waitlist signups are stored in Listmonk, an email list tool we run ourselves.
  • Each signup posts a notification to our team's Slack workspace so we can follow up.
  • Site analytics are processed by Google Analytics.

Your choices

  • Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
  • Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, and we will do it.
  • You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Questions go to [email protected].
